Cast Biographies

Bob Hutcheson has been a member of the improv groups Interplay, Assembly and Split-Second Theatre in New York. He trained at the Actors and Directors Lab and at the National Improv Theatre in New York. He has done numerous voiceovers, radio commercials and is the inventor of the Typhoon Balloon.


Rachel Hutcheson was a member of the inprovisational groups Interplay, Assembly and Split-Second Theatre in New York. She also performed at the Directors Lab in New York, the Live Bait and Synergy theatres in Chicago as well as summer stock. Rachel studied acting with Jack Garfien and improvisation with Tamara Wilcox-Smith, and has a B.S. in theater from Western Michigan University.


Dan Jablons is a director, writer and actor. He most recently co-directed and performed in the Off-Broadway production of Commedia Tonight, with Split-Second Theatre. He originated the role of Charlie in Second Thoughts at N.I.T. and was a member of the improv troupe Assembly. He has performed in TV and radio commercials and has taught improvisational theatre.


Lori Jablons is a writer and actress. She trained classically as a stage actress in­ New York City and has originated mostly comedic roles in many Off-Off Broadway productions. Roles include: Brenda in David Story’s The Farm, Fyokla in Chekhov in Yalta , Joanne in Tour de Force, Lurleen in Private Arrangements and Vera in Second Thoughts. Lori has had­her plays produced in New York and Los Angeles, and she has also written for television.­Lori studied improvisation with Tamara Wilcox-Smith and is a founding member of the Really Spontaneous Theatre Company.


Tamra Meskimen (RSTC executive director / ensemble) performed in Commedia Tonight at the Douglas Fairbanks Theatre in New York with Split-Second Theatre. She appeared in numerous plays and showcases at N.I.T. and was also a member of the improv groups Assembly and Interplay. She has appeared on TV and film in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Apollo 13, and has done many voiceovers, radio and TV commercials.


Jim Meskimen performed with Interplay for twelve years. He has appeared on television on Grace Under Fire, Third Rock From the Sun, Beverly Hills 90210 and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, among many others. Feature films appearences include Apollo 13, Jingle All the Way, The Paper, Ed TV and The Other Sister. He has done numerous commercial campaigns on TV and radio.


Alexandria Nassikas trained in New York at the Neighborhood Playhouse and at N.I.T. She performed Off-Broadway with Split-Second Theatre in Commedia Tonight. She also performed with the improv group At the Drop of a Hat. Alexandria's TV and film credits include One Life to Live, Loving and That Thing You Do.


Tait Ruppert (RSTC director, ensemble) On Broadway Tait appeared as Marchbanks in Candida with Joanne Woodward. Other starring roles include A Midsummer Night's Dream, Another Country and Album. Tait can be seen in Barry Levinson's film Diner, The General's Daughter, and the upcoming Battlefield Earth starring John Travolta. He was a member of the improv groups Interplay and Assembly, which he also directed. He appears in commercials and TV shows including MAD TV, Arliss and Charmed.
